In 1970 the Byskal family moved to Cloverdale, B.C. and purchased this hip roof heritage home on 176th street. Back then 176th street (Pacific Highway) was the truck route to the border. The house shook with every truck that went by. The Cloverdale auction behind the house took place every Saturday and more than one kitten, along with household oddities were brought home by one of their three girls who regularly attended. After a few years the Byskal’s moved and turned the house into a gospel meeting place for young people. It still stands solid.
